Mega Haul 2: 2 Memebox orders; July 2015 Boxycharm; and YSL (Yves Saint Laurent)

This week 4 boxes came in for me! Needless to say this week was super great. I made two orders at Memebox due to the 20% off sale and the $1 dollar items sale. I sadly missed the 80% off Memebox sale. When I got there all the good skincare boxes was gone. It was crazy, they has a Missha box value of $77 for $20 bucks! They also had other boxes, the cheapest I've seen being $15.

This was the first box that came it was the first order I made which was 20% off whole purchase.

I bought 1 Memebox and two packs (5 mask each) of the XO Memebox Hydrogel mask. I really love that mask its super hydrating and doesn't break me out. Most Korean facemasks don't moisturize enough.

This was the COSRX box. COSRX is the name of the brand, its is Korean skincare items. Here is what was in the box:

COSRX Advance Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence ($20)

COSRX BHA Summer Pore Minish Serum ($15)

COSRX Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser ($11)

COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner ($14)

COSRX Blackhead Silk FingerBall 12 pcs ($5.50)

Total value $65.50, Memebox sells this box for $46. I got it for $36.80 since it was 20% off my final order. I did the math and compared the item prices on Korea Depart.

Korea Depart prices for the same items:

COSRX Advance Snail 96 Mucin Power Essence ($12.15)

COSRX BHA Summer Pore Minish Serum ($9.98)

COSRX Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser ($4.99)

COSRX AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner ($9.12)

COSRX Blackhead Silk FingerBall 12 pcs ($5.50)  - Korea Depart doesn't carry COSRX silk balls, but they have the nature republic 10 pcs for 2.54; and APIEU 12 pcs for $3.66

I used the APIEU value since it has 12 pcs like the COSRX one. TOTAL KOREA DEPART COST: $39.90 not including shipping which is $10+

After doing the math I realized the box was a great deal with the 20% off. Notice Memebox does price their item values higher, but Memebox pays to mass import the goods and ship it to us for free. Honestly including the costs of shipping paying the full $46 value actually be cheaper than me buying the same items on KoreaDepart and paying for shipping.

I will do a post just on this box and the items in it *Spoiler Alert* so far I am in love with this box!

The next box to arrive was my Boxycharm! Boxycharm is a subscription box costs $21 a month, but contains items with a total value greater than $100! There boxes focus heavily on makeup items. I don't usually buy their box, but I would pretty much use everything in this box except the lipliner. For such a great deal I had to give it a try. I really wanted that Vasanti blush brush which supposedly retails for $29.

I was surprised at the size of the box.
I expected it to be bigger because of the items contained but it was the size of a Birchbox, but a lot heavier and not nearly as cute on the packagaing.

The items are:

MDMflow Greater Than Mascara- Full Size (£ 21 approx. $35 USD)

Vasanti Professional Blush Brush - Full Size ($29)

yourMinerals Transparent Veil Setting Powder - Full Size in medium ($26)

gorge I'll make you look amazing daily spray- Full Size ($29.95)

OFRA Cosmetics Lip Liner - Full Size ($13)  Shade I got was "nude"

Overall value: $132.95 if we use the values they gave us. Super worth!

The Mascara is a special Boxy charm only item, it is coming over to the states but is not here yet. I love the brush it is soft and fluffy. Some people think it is a bit on the small side. The blush brush I use its usually larger but this size is fine as my face is fairly small. Any smaller than this and we would have an issue. This is the smallest size I am willing to go for a blush brush.

Up Next is the Memebox order at placed at the $1 dollar sale. All of the items I purchased were $1 and up. They had some really good skincare items for $3-$5 but they were sold out. I was happy to get some of these items, as soon as I checked back 1-2 hours later all the penguins and the bunny glosses and some of the masks I got sold out as well.

Here are two of the items I really wanted that was sold out before I got to it:

KOCOSTAR: Foot Therapy (Foot Mask) -  was $9.50, now $3.00
- I heard such great things about this foot mask and wanted to try it. They also sell it at Urban Outfitters for about $10.00 so this was a spectacular deal.

Holika Holika: Aqua Fantasy Toner - was $22.00, now $5.00
- The bottle is very cute and the discount was very steep. Steep enough to make me want to buy it.

I did end up with these products below:

(2)  MISSHA: Ginger & Vinegar Baby Foot Peeling Mask - was $8.00, now $3.00

(3) Holika Holika: Penguin's Dream Hand Cream Babiya - was $7.50, now $3.00

(5) LEADERS: Lifting Recovery Mask - was $4.50, now $1.00

(2) NAEXY: Genius Mask Pack #4 Anti- Aging Snail - was $4.50, now $1.00

(5)  NAEXY: Genius Mask Pack #5 Aqua - was $4.50, now $1.00

(3) SKIN FACTORY: Seven Seconds Touchfit Lip Tattoo Pack - Vita Fruits Peach - was $17.00, now $3.00

(3) TONYMOLY: Petit Bunny Gloss Bar 05 Juicy Peach - was $9.00, now $3.00

The items were such a good deal! I have friends who LOVE TONY MOLY and who love super cute packaging.I purchased multiples of some of the items with them in mind. Share the love.

* There is only 4 Genius Aqua Masks in the pictures because I already used one. Will have a review up in the near future for the hauls I got. I am so excited to play with this stuff.

I was so excited when I was selected by Influenster to test their Yves Saint Laurent box. The reason I never got into this brand was mainly the price. Why pay much for for something if what I have does a good job of it? Only reason I would switch is if the products were noticeably superior.

I was given two items to try out. This is great since I don't actually use a primer. Last and first primer I tried was the Smash box oil control one and it absorbed the oil on my face and then proceeded to peel off. Imaging walking around with makeup peeling off your face. After that horrific experience I never bothered with primers.

I won't mind adding a primer to my routine if it works well.

There are two primers in here. The Touche Eclat Blur Primer which does on before make up application and the Touche Eclat Blur Perfector which  can apparently be used in 3 ways:

1. Alone as an all-over complexion perfector

2. To set makeup

3. As a mattifying touch up during the day

The Touche Eclat Blur Perfector is a light pink/nude press powder. It comes with an applicator. My concerns with this product are:

1. possible breakout

2. might not match my skintone

3. how it might look against or interact with my other makeup.

I will give it a try using it in all the 3 ways they say the product can be used.

This is the Touche Eclat Blur Primer, it has a small white applicator attached to the cap. The applicator appears to be a thin and flat piece of plastic. The product is a transparent liquid with glittering flecks. My concerns with is product is if I will look glittery. I also have the usual concerns regarding product interaction and break outs.

I look forward to giving you guys reviews on these products.

That is it for my haul guys. This week was a super big one. Hope you enioyed reading!

So here is a little present to my readers,

Click here and apply code PYJSRRX4 to get 20% off your entire puchase. I believe it expires on 8/7/15.

There is a 5 use limit on this code before it stops working. I have already used it once, and of the people I have sent it to, at most only 2 more ppl should be using it. That means it has 2 more uses on it! Keep in mind it will not deduct 20% from items part of the $1 and the $5 clearance summer sale.

First come, first serve! Enjoy your discount.
